Lovingly created by Lucy Burgess
Born in Bramhall Stockport, upon leaving school Lucy went on to study Display and Exhibition design and had a creative career in visual merchandising. During a career break to bring up her children, much of Lucy’s time was spent painting. As a self- taught artist Lucy’s painting style has evolved over the years and more recently she has found a style that suits her best. Leaving her job in 2019 to work on her art full time was a massive decision but one Lucy doesn’t regret for a minute: “I am captivated by the history of Stockport and try to reflect this in my work, I truly believe that art should make you think, feel, and wonder and I try to embrace this idea when I work.”
